Tanzania AAA RFA - Aviv Estate

This is an AAA grade Rain Forest Alliance certified coffee from the Aviv Estate in Tanzania. The Aviv Estate represents OLAM's ongoing efforts in Tanzania to foster high quality Arabica coffee production by implementing environmental and social standards. Since it's beginning in 2011, Aviv has become one of the largest, fully irrigated, commercial coffee projects in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania and has achieved full Government support as one of the largest in coffee in this area. Total area on the existing farms is 1999 Ha, out of which we have planted 1025 Ha under new sustainable drip irrigation systems. Coffee at Aviv Estate is grown at an altitude ranging from 1100-1300 masl and is screen 19 up.

Through our efforts to ensure water security for the 300,000 people living in the Ruvuma River Basin surrounding the Aviv Estate, we here at Olam are excited to have achieved an Alliance for Water Stewardship certification by meeting the AWS International Water Stewardship Standard.
