This is an SHG grade, washed microlot coffee from Nicaragua, produced by Bernabe Montoyo.
The farm is located in Matagalpa, in East Nicaragua, and the coffee growing area is 70 hectares. Grown at altitudes of 1100-1200 masl, this coffee is washed and patio dried for 12 days. It is of the Caturra and Marselleza varietals.
Bernabe Montoyo has been growing coffee as a family business for 7 years. Investments have been made in the wet mill to keep a clean hygienic operation, and other careful practices include fertilization being done only after soil analysis has been reviewed.
