This strictly high grown European prep Nicaraguan coffee is Fair Trade organic certified. It was cultivated by the 25 de Marzo Cooperative. The coop was founded in 2008 in the San Juan de Rio Coco municipality of the Madriz department. The cooperative has 49 member, 15 of whom are women, and cultivate 140 hectares of coffee. The main varieties grown are Caturra and Catuai.
