Jamaica Blue Mountain #1 - Clydesdale Estate

This is a Jamaica Blue Mountain grade coffee from the Clydesdale Estate sub-region of the St. Andrew Parish. The original Clydesdale Estate, no longer in operation, was one of the first coffee estates in Jamaica, founded in the late 1700s. The original Clydesdale Estate house and mill are still intact after 200 years and have been designated a Jamaica Heritage Site. Today, the land is farmed by small holder farmers. All the coffee is washed at the nearby Clifton Mount Wet Mill. The Clydesdale Estate sub-region is the oldest coffee growing sub-region in Jamaica and covers portions of the St. Andrew, St. Thomas and Portland parishes of the Blue Mountains at the eastern end of country.

Please Note: Since Jamaica Blue Mountain lots are packaged in barrels we are unable to sample these coffees. Thus, we are unable to provide arrival cup notes, too.
