This Excelso grade coffee comes from Finca La Esperanza, which is one of the member farms of the Coagravida Tolima Cooperative. It is located in the Vareda Pradera subregion of the Planada municipality within the Tolima department of Colombia, and sits at an altitude of 1,900 masl . Edgar Chala cultivated this lot and it is Screen 15 Up and is entirely Yellow Caturra variety. The coffee is washed and fermented for 16-18 hours before being dried on raised beds for 12-15 days.
