Colombia Quindio EA Decaf - Cooperativa de Caficultores del Quindio

This is a decaf Colombian coffee from Cooperativa de Caficultores del Quindío. This lot was grown at 1500-2000 masl, and is made of the Castillo, Colombia, and Caturra varietals. This coffee was decaffeinated by the Ethyl Acetate method.

This coffee was sourced in partnership with Azahar Coffee Company. Azahar works with Colombia’s best coffees and coffee farmers. They establish enduring relationships and pay higher, stable prices regardless of the market because good coffee farming should be profitable.

THE PROCESS

Coffee is then thoroughly washed before being patio dried for 12-24 hours, and mechanical dried for 10-20 days.
